Wagering requirements set how many times a win from free spins or a bonus amount has to be staked before it becomes a balance that can be withdrawn. Casino terms call this multiplier wager, playthrough or wagering requirement; the spellings “x40”, “40x” and “40 times” all mean the same thing. Wagering is only one of several conditions attached to spins: the number of spins, activation, eligible slots and the win cap belong to the same set of rules. At all five casinos the win from free spins carries its own multiplier, set apart from the wagering on the deposit bonus. The values according to the terms, as of 09.10.2026:
Different multipliers do appear in reports from Austria. One player in a VIP club received free spins after several deposits, and the win of €79 from them was subject to 50x wagering. The multiplier that applies to a specific offer is written in that offer’s promotion terms, not in a general bonus summary. Ninlay Casino explains how the multiplier works in its own FAQ with a worked example: “Wenn die Umsatzbedingungen x40 sind und du 10 EUR gewonnen hast, musst du 400 EUR einsetzen” – if the requirement is x40 and you have won 10 EUR, you have to stake 400 EUR. The base is therefore the win from the spins, not the number of spins and not the deposit.
The deposit bonus uses a different base. All five list 35 times on deposit plus bonus: Ninlay Casino according to Casino.Guru “35x (Bonus + Einzahlung)” and according to AskGamblers 35x(d+b), AllySpin Casino according to Casino.Guru and LCB, Wyns Casino and Kinbet Casino according to AskGamblers. Mr Pacho Casino writes in its own terms that the requirement is 35 times the original deposit amount and the bonus received. For slots, Ninlay Casino counts bets at a game weighting of 100 %.
The abbreviations used on comparison portals follow a fixed pattern: “d” stands for deposit and “b” for bonus. “35x(d+b)” and “35x (Bonus + Einzahlung)” therefore describe the same rule, only in a different order. When the multiplier is attached to “winnings from free spins”, it refers solely to what the spins have paid out; the deposit does not count there.
Once wagering is complete, the withdrawal brings its own hurdles: account verification, a minimum amount and payment methods that are excluded from the bonus. The terms of the five casinos distinguish between deposited real money and bonus balance. The order in which the two are used – real money first or bonus money first – is not set out explicitly in the recorded terms. For all five casinos the status as of 09.10.2026 is: no information.
What is regulated is the order between bonus and spins. At Ninlay Casino, Kinbet Casino, Mr Pacho Casino and AllySpin Casino, free spins can only be used once an active casino bonus has been completed. Ninlay Casino puts it this way: “Bevor du die Freispiele nutzen kannst, musst einen aktiven Casino Bonus abschließen.” For Wyns Casino no such rule is listed. While the wagering of a deposit bonus is still running, the spins of the package wait until that bonus is finished.
The path from bonus balance to real money is capped as well. Kinbet Casino names a transfer to real money for winnings from free spins of at most 50 EUR for up to 50 free spins and 100 EUR for more than 50 free spins. Ninlay Casino, Wyns Casino and Mr Pacho Casino list the same limits; at Ninlay Casino and Wyns Casino the remainder is forfeited. For bonus money from a deposit, Ninlay Casino and Kinbet Casino set a cap at 10 times the bonus amount.
Separate caps apply to no-deposit free spins: Ninlay Casino lists 80 EUR in section 7.15 of its terms, while Wyns Casino, Kinbet Casino and Mr Pacho Casino list 80 EUR as a general rule in their terms. A current offer of this kind is not listed at any of the five casinos, and for AllySpin Casino the cap is missing too: no information.
The line between bonus and money also occupies the Austrian supreme courts. In legal principle Ro 2018/17/0003, the Administrative Court (VwGH) holds that a bonus is an independent asset if it can be converted into money or goods: “Das ist dann der Fall, wenn der Spieler den Gutschein (auch) in Geld (Waren) ablösen kann.” For winnings from bonus games, government bill 594 d.B. provides for a new rule, planned from 1 January 2027: such winnings are to count as paid-out winnings only “wenn sie das Ergebnis einer Zufallsentscheidung sind und dieser erzielte Gewinn ausgezahlt wird” – if they are the result of a random decision and the win is actually paid out. Two deadlines run side by side: the period within which wagering must be completed, and the validity of the spins themselves. The wagering period is the same length at all five casinos, as of 09.10.2026:
When the deadline starts depends on the moment of activation, and at all five casinos that requires a deposit. None of them lists spins tied to opening an account alone; the steps around free spins on sign-up that do appear in the terms are collected on that page.
Between “after activation” and “after receipt” there is a difference in the starting point at Ninlay Casino and Kinbet Casino: the promotion page and the general terms place the start of the deadline at different steps. Which version is applied to a bonus activated later is not settled in the recorded data: no information.
For the validity of the spins the rules diverge. Ninlay Casino gives 10 days in the welcome package to meet the free-spin conditions; in the weekly reload the free spins must be used within 7 days, otherwise they expire. For free spins from the shop, the Ninlay terms also give 7 days after activation in the customer account. Kinbet Casino names no separate usage period for the spins in the welcome package, only 10 days for the free-spin conditions; in the weekly reload 7 days apply. At Wyns Casino and Mr Pacho Casino every block of 20 has to be claimed within 24 hours of becoming available, otherwise it expires. For AllySpin Casino: no information.
The daily blocks cause frustration in Austria. One player describes the daily release like this: “Dann hat es geheisst ich muss täglich darum betteln!” – he was told he had to ask for them every day. At Wyns Casino and Mr Pacho Casino a block that is not claimed expires; for the other three casinos no information is recorded on this point.

As long as a casino bonus is active, all five casinos limit the stake per round. On the maximum bet, operator pages and comparison portals contradict each other most clearly, as of 09.10.2026:
Section 7.19 of the Ninlay Casino terms lists the breach as “Das Setzen von Wettbeträgen über 100 EUR, bevor die Umsatzbedingungen erfüllt wurden;” – placing bets above 100 EUR before the wagering requirements have been met. At Ninlay Casino the change is dated: the Wayback version of 14.02.2026 listed 5 EUR, the Austrian terms as of 09.10.2026 list 100 EUR.
How costly an overlooked bonus can be is described by a player from Austria who had €5950 withheld because of bets above €5: “At no point during my session was I aware that any bonus was active on my account”. Another accepted a bonus and reports: “Angenommen und einiges verloren auch mit höheren Einsätzen über 5 Euro.” – accepted, and lost quite a bit, also with bets above 5 euros. At Ninlay Casino, Kinbet Casino and Mr Pacho Casino the bonus is activated in the profile area.

Bonus balance can be blocked or removed for several reasons: because the deadline has passed, because a win cap applies, because the maximum bet was exceeded, or because account verification is still open. At Ninlay Casino and Kinbet Casino deposits and withdrawals can be blocked until verification is complete. For the check, Ninlay Casino gives usually 24 to 48 hours in its FAQ and, in its general terms, as a rule up to 10 days.
Buying bonus rounds is disputed. One player bought free spins in a slot while a bonus was active, which was treated as a breach of the maximum bet; he objects: “Ein Verbot für den Kauf von Freispielen ist darin nicht genannt.” – the terms name no ban on buying free spins. In another case a win of €3767 was not paid out, although the player states: “Ich habe pro Spin nur €0.60 gesetzt” – he staked only €0.60 per spin. Whether the purchase price or the stake per spin counts as the bet when buying is not regulated in the recorded terms of the five casinos: no information.
The deposit method can also decide on the bonus. Ninlay Casino excludes Neteller and Skrill from the welcome package; LCB names the same two methods. A deposit via these methods does not count towards the package according to the terms.
Where bonus balance may be played is fixed as well. The reload free spins of Ninlay Casino run on a slot chosen by the management at the minimum spin value; for the welcome package the slot is not specified. On slots, every bet at Ninlay Casino counts 100 % towards wagering. Completed wagering does not automatically mean the full amount is paid out. A player from Austria writes: “ich habe mit Ersteinzahlungsbonus gespielt und habe es auch 45 mal umgesetzt” – he played with a first-deposit bonus and wagered it 45 times; his win of 26 €000 then fell under the bonus withdrawal limit. Whether such a limit still applies after wagering is fully complete is written in the promotion terms of the offer in question; Ninlay Casino and Kinbet Casino name 10 times the bonus amount for bonus money.
A third case concerns money that a casino books back after a check. A player from Austria found: “the system has applied a 1x wagering requirement to the returned funds”. On such reversals, no information is recorded for the five casinos in this catalogue.
